asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is aware that when tenders for medicines were invited in March, 1925, the conditions of contract stipulated for delivery to the nearest railway station only, but that contractors tendering were subsequently notified that in the case of medicines tenders should provide for full delivery, and not merely delivery to nearest railway station; whether the same stipulation for full delivery was communicated to all contractors tendering in August, 1925, for the period commencing in October, 1925, or whether contractors accustomed to tendering on the basis of full delivery were notified that tenders were required only on the basis of delivery to the railway station, and whether Messrs. Evans, Son, Lescher, and Webb, to whom the contract was allotted, are bound by contract to deliver to the nearest railway station or to give full delivery.

The answers to the first two parts of the question are in the affirmative. As regards the third part the form of tender specified delivery to each institution. The contractors referred to have undertaken to give full delivery and are doing so.
The Minister uses the word "undertaking." The question is whether they are bound by contract; whether they tendered in the first instance to deliver to the institution or to the nearest railway station.
They are bound according to the tender to deliver to the institution, and they are doing that.
Do I understand from the Minister that the English firm tendered to deliver the medicines to the institution, and that they are bound by contract?
Yes.
Does the Minister say that the tender was to deliver to the institution, apart from the contract?
Yes.
