Vol. 13 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MALICIOUS INJURY CLAIM (CO. LIMERICK).

asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that delay in lodging an Order awarding £925 as compensation for malicious injuries to Mr. Robert Coll, of Elton, Co. Limerick, awarded by the Circuit Court Judge in June, 1925, is due to the fact that the representative of the Department of Finance applied for a case to be stated in respect of a portion of the claim; whether he can state if it is proposed to make any further appeal, and whether, in view of the fact that no portion of the claim can be paid until such appeal is dealt with, he will expedite the hearing of the matter.

My Department has not so far been informed that an application has been made for a case to be stated; enquiries are being instituted.
