CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CO. LIMERICK AWARDS.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he will state the reason of the delay in paying the award made to Patrick T. Mulcair, Askeaton, Co. Limerick, in March, 1925, by the Circuit Judge.

Inquiries which were necessary in this case have now been practically completed and a decision will be made shortly.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he will state the cause of the delay in paying the award made to John Cooke, Bottomstown, Knocklong, Co. Limerick, under the Damage to Property (Compensation) Act, 1923, and whether he will have payment expedited.

The delay in this case is due to an error made by the applicant's solicitor, which has now been rectified, and the agreed amount of £412 10s. will be paid shortly.
