Vol. 14 No. 12

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - NEW ROSS COMPENSATION CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Finance if a report has been received in favour of the payment of £75 to Mrs. Mary A. Cooney, South Street, New Ross, as compensation for goods commandeered during the year 1922, and if he will state when same will be paid.

Payment of this report will not be made, as inquiries reveal that the goods claimed for were not commandeered, but were supplied in the ordinary course of business.

If evidence is forthcoming to show that that is not correct, will the Minister re-open the case?

Yes, I will consider any evidence put forward.
