Vol. 14 No. 13

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - ACQUISITION OF ROSSCARBERY LANDS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the Land Commission have taken any steps to acquire the lands of Mr. T. J. Kingston, Burgatia, Rosscarbery, on the Starkie Estate, containing about one hundred and fifty acres statute, for division amongst uneconomic holders in the vicinity, and, if so, whether he can state when the division will take place.

Mr. HOGAN

The lands referred to are tenanted lands held by Mrs. Annie E. Kingston as judicial tenant on the estate of R. F. Starkie. Particulars of this estate have been lodged under the Land Act, 1923, and the matter will be dealt with when the Land Commission are dealing with the estate under the Act.
