Vol. 14 No. 13

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - DUNMANWAY INDEMNITY ACT CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Finance whether payment of a claim lodged under the Indemnity Act, 1924, by Mr. J. D. Bernard, Railway Hotel, Dunmanway, Co. Cork, will be expedited.

No recommendation has yet been received by me from the Indemnity Act Committee in the case referred to by the Deputy. It is, however, anticipated that the Committee will be in a position to deal with this case at an early date, and there will be no avoidable delay in effecting payment of compensation within the limit of the sum they may recommend.
