Vol. 14 No. 14

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - ARMY ACCOUNTS (CASTLEREA).

asked the Minister for Finance whether a claim for compensation on account of goods supplied to the Headquarters of No. 2 Brigade, Western Division, Castlerea Irish Volunteers, during the period April, 1922, to July, 1922, has been received by the Indemnity Claims Committee from Mr. James Morris, victualler, Castlerea, and what action has been taken as a result of this claim.

The claim referred to by the Deputy was received in my Department some days ago, but as it appears to be a matter for the Army Finance Office and not for the Indemnity Act Committee the papers have been passed to the Department of Defence.
