Vol. 14 No. 15

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MARKETS FOR IRISH LACE.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he will state the number of markets for Irish-made lace in the Saorstát, and where same are situated.

There are no localised markets for lace in the Saorstát. The lace is usually sold by the markers either on the spot to local agents or sent to dealers and exporters in Dublin, Cork and Sligo, for sale on consignment.
