Vol. 14 No. 18

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - BURNING OF KINSALE CLUB.

SEAN PRIOMHDHAIL

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that a decree for £4,000 was granted for the burning of Kinsale Club; that on appeal in January last before Judge Kenny the decree was affirmed; and if he will state when payment will be made in the case.

The decree for £4,000 was made on the re-hearing of a claim in which an award of £5,610 was obtained in October, 1922. Notice of appeal has been lodged against the decree and payment cannot be made until it has been disposed of.

Could the Minister say what are the grounds for lodging the appeal?

I do not think that I need answer that.
