WRITTEN ANSWERS. - RATHCAM (WESTMEATH) LANDS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire, for the relief of congestion, the lands of Rathcam, Westmeath, consisting of two hundred and forty acres, which were previously owned by Captain R.S. Lemon, and are at present in the possession of James Little, Carrick, Mullingar.

The Land Commission have had a preliminary inspection made of the lands of Rathcam with a view to ascertaining if they would be suitable for acquisition under the Land Act, 1923, and the matter is under consideration.
