asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he will state, or cause to be circulated, a statement showing by counties under the Land Act, 1923:—(A) the total acreage of untenanted land and giving the acreage of (1) lands that have been the subject of enquiries; (2) lands inspected; (3) lands for which prices have been offered and accepted; (4) lands vested in the Land Commission; (5) lands divided; and (B) the total acreage of tenanted lands and giving the acreage of (1) lands of which particulars have been furnished; (2) lands which have been inspected and gazetted; (3) lands vested in the Land Commission.

In addition the Land Commission in completing Sales under the Acts 1903/9 which were pending at the passing of the Act of 1923 have vested in the purchases 19,200 Holdings, representing 634,000 acres, and have divided 80,000 acres of untenanted land purchased under those Acts.
