Vol. 16 No. 6

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - CLAIM FOR VALUE OF A GUN.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that Mr. James Fenton, Kilacloyne, Carrigtwohill, Cork, made application in 1923 for compensation for £10 for a gun taken from him by the Army authorities: whether the claim has yet been investigated by his Department, and whether payment will be expedited.

An ex-gratia payment by way of compensation was made to Mr. Fenton on the 4th instant.
