Vol. 16 No. 6

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - CO. LIMERICK COMPENSATION AWARD.

asked the Minister for Finance whether inquiries into the claim of £925 for compensation awarded to Mr. R. Coll, of Elton, Co. Limerick, have yet been completed, and if he can state when Mr. Coll will receive the amount awarded to him.

MINISTER for FINANCE (Mr. Blythe)

The inquiries have been completed, and payment will shortly be made of £600, now certified to have been expended on reinstatement work, and of the costs and expenses; payment of the balance, £248, of the conditional portion of the award is being deferred pending further reinstatement. The unconditional portion, £77, is being paid to the Land Commission in part satisfaction of arrears of interest in lieu of rent due by the claimant.
