Vol. 16 No. 10

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CO. KILDARE COMPENSATION CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Defence whether the re-1926, are yet available respecting the sult of inquiries promised on 13th May, claim to compensation for injury to pony, etc., of Thomas Byrne, Cooleragh, Blackwood, Co. Kildare; whether he is aware that this man has suffered considerable loss through unemployment for six weeks, and whether he will expedite payment.

I regret that the result of the inquiries promised on the 13th ultimo is not yet available. The necessary investigations are being expedited, and I will inform the Deputy of the result as soon as possible.

Is the Minister aware that this man has been unemployed for six weeks; that this is a considerable hardship on him, and will he try and have this case settled as soon as possible?
