Vol. 16 No. 21

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYED.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state whether any proposals are now being considered for the immediate relief of the unemployed.

All the provision for the relief of the unemployed authorised by the Dáil has been made. Further immediate grants for relief would require a fresh vote of the Dáil, and questions on such a matter should be addressed, not to me, but to the Minister for Finance.
