Vol. 17 No. 7

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CO. CLARE OLD AGE PENSION CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if his Department has received an appeal in respect of the old age pension granted to John Claire, Beahy, Liscannor, Co. Clare, and if he will state whether a decision will soon be arrived at in this case.

Two claims to the old age pension in this case have been disallowed on appeal as I was not satisfied that claimant's annual means, as calculated for old age pension purposes, were within the statutory limit of £39 5s. Od. a year. No appeal has been received since the 13th of May last when the decision was given on the second claim.
