asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether he is aware that two farms, the property of Mrs. Gishford, Kilmoney, Rathangan, County Kildare, are being advertised in the local Press for sale by private treaty, viz.:—Feighcullen, containing about 23 acres, Statute Measure, held subject to a Land Commission Annuity of £7 4s. 10d., and Poor Law Valuation £18; and Blakestown, containing about 39 acres, Statute Measure, held in fee-simple and subject to a very trifling Tithe Rent Charge, and a Poor Law Valuation of £29 10s.; and whether in view of the acute congestion in the locality, he will instruct the Land Commission to acquire those lands for division amongst some of the twenty-seven uneconomic holders, whose applications were sent in to the Land Commission on the 1st April, 1925, and acknowledged by the Department on the 6th April, 1925.
