WRITTEN ANSWER. - REPAIR OF ROSCOMMON ROADS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether he has received a petition from the tenants in the villages of Cullen, Newtown, Sonnagh and Corlackin, County Roscommon, asking for a free grant through the Irish Land Commission for the repair of the roads running through the villages of Cullen and Newtown to the public road at Arda, and what action has been taken, or is intended to be taken, as a result of the receipt of that petition.

The petition referred to has been received by the Land Commission, and is at present under consideration.
