Vol. 18 No. 14

ORDUITHE AN LAE. - ORDER OF BUSINESS.

I want to give notice that on Tuesday we will probably move for a later sitting than 8.30, in order to finish this Bill.

Would the President indicate when my motion on the Order Paper will be taken?

After the Land Bill.

I did not take the slightest objection to giving private Deputies' time on Wednesday to the taking of the Intoxicating Liquor Bill, and I am not disposed to make any protest to-day, but I ask the Government to provide an opportunity on Wednesday evening to dispose of this matter.

I have to consider the question of the Land Bill, which is of more importance than the Deputy's motion. The Deputy will concede that.

No. In the poor areas in the West of Ireland, where so many cattle were lost, the Land Bill is of relatively little importance.

When will the Intoxicating Liquor Bill be likely to be recommitted?

About ten days after the conclusion of the Committee Stage.

The Dáil adjourned at 4 p.m. until Tuesday, 8th March, at 3 p.m.
