Vol. 19 No. 1

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - WOODTOWN AND MOYRATH DRAINAGE SCHEME.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he can state the cause of the delay in proceeding with the Woodtown and Moyrath Drainage Scheme at Kildalkey, County Meath; whether same will be proceeded with this spring, and, if not, if he will state when the work will commence.

In view of the large number of petitions received by the Commissioners of Public Works from various parts of the country, many of them very pressing and urgent, it has not yet been possible to have this district inspected, nor can a date be yet named for the inspection. In the circumstances, even if the case is to be proceeded with, no work can be carried out this spring, nor can it at present be stated when a start can be made.
