CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce, whether he is aware that Jeremiah Crowe, Raheen, Bansha, Co. Tipperary, lodged a claim for unemployment benefit on the 2nd February, 1927; that he has not yet received payment, and whether he will arrange to have payment made without further delay.

Jeremiah Crowe, Raheen, Bansha, County Tipperary, made a claim to unemployment insurance benefit on the 5th of February, 1927. The validity of certain contributions paid on Mr. Crowe's behalf had to be investigated before a decision could be given on his claim. On completion of the necessary inquiries his claim was authorised, and payment of all benefit due thereon will be made to him on receipt of prescribed forms which were sent to him for completion on the 16th inst.
