WRITTEN ANSWERS. - COUNTY MEATH ESTATES.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he can state what action the Land Commission have taken with reference to the application for a holding on the Craig-Waller estat, County Meath, dated 27th September, 1926, and forwarded by Miss Kate Cahill, Bohermeen, Navan.

The application of Miss Kate Cahill has been noted for consideration in connection with the division of the lands on the Craig-Waller estate.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether, in view of the great local demand for economic holdings the Land Commission are now prepared to acquire the Grennanstown estate, Castletown, Athboy, County Meath, and, if not, whether he will state on what grounds the Land Commission decline to acquire this estate.

The Land Commission do not propose to acquire the lands referred to.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he will state when the Land Commission propose dividing the Bond estate at Ballinlough, Kells, County Meath, and whether he will see that the division of same is expedited.

The division and allotment of the lands of Ballinlough on the Bond estate were carried out within the last week.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the Land Commission have received an application for a holding on the Bond estate, Ballinlough, Kells, County Meath, from Mr. Thomas Barden, of Bolies, Oldcastle, County Meath, who is the representative of a tenant evicted from the estate of James William Bond, on the 19th October, 1897, and whether the Land Commission propose making an allotment to this applicant when the Bond estate is being distributed.

Mr. HOGAN

The Land Commission received application from Thomas Barden for a parcel of land on the Nicholson and Naper estates which have been allotted. No application by this person for a parcel of land on the Bond estate recently allotted can be traced.
