asked the Minister for Finance if he can state the numbers employed in the Civil Service in each of the following grades: (a) Temporary Clerks, (b) Writing Assistants, (c) Copying Typists, (d) Shorthand Typists, (e) Superintendents of Typists, (f) Clerical Officers, (g) Staff Officers, (h) Executive Officers, (i) Higher Executive Officers, (j) Adminis-economic holdings, the Land Commis-Clerks, (l) Principal Clerks, and (m) Heads of Departments, distinguishing between men and women in each case.

The numbers employed in the classes mentioned are as follow:—
