Vol. 19 No. 9

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - SAGGART AND CLONDALKIN PAPER MILLS.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he has any information as to the re-opening of the Saggart and Clondalkin paper mills.

The group who have purchased the Clondalkin paper mills are at present completing their plans for the working of these mills. My Department have been in close touch with the progress of the matter for some months past, and it is hoped that the re-opening of the mills will soon be possible.

A responsible group has also been interested in the case of the Saggart mills and has recently been in communication with my Department in the matter. The plans of this group are not yet in an advanced stage.
