Vol. 19 No. 24

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - TRANSFER OF IRISH LIGHTS SERVICE.

TOMAS MAC EOIN

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether any agreement has yet been arrived at with the British Government respecting the Irish Lights Service and its transfer to the Saorstát Government.

This matter is still under consideration. No agreement has yet been arrived at.

Is the Minister able to indicate that there will be agreement within a short space of time?

I am not in a position to say. There is nothing on the file which would enable me to answer the Deputy.
