CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - EX-GRATIA GRANT FOR ROOSKEY RURAL POSTMAN.

Mr. M.P. CONNOLLY

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he will consider the making of an ex-gratia grant to the widow and family of the late Michael Conbery, rural postman at Rooskey, who died suddenly in the discharge of his duties, which he performed to the satisfaction of all concerned.

Mr. HEFFERNAN

A gratuity to the legal representatives of the late Mr. Conbery has now been sanctioned, and the amount will be paid on production of letters of administration.

Mr. DWYER

Will the Parliamentary Secretary please state what the amount of the gratuity will be?
