CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - R.I.C. PENSIONERS IN THE SAORSTÁT.

asked the Minister for Finance whether he can state the total amount paid under the Constabulary Acts, in the years ending 31st March, 1927 and 1928, respectively, by way of pension and compensation allowances, to ex-members of the Royal Irish Constabulary resident in Saorstát Eireann.

This information is not available in my Department, but I am pursuing inquiries with the British Government, and will let the Deputy know the result in due course.
