Vol. 23 No. 16

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. Oral Answers. - LEGISLATION RE WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether it is his intention to introduce proposals for legislation in the present session of the Dáil to give effect to the Report of the Departmental Committee on Workmen's Compensation.

Owing to the pressure of other business there is no prospect of being able to introduce legislation on this matter before the summer recess. A Bill is, however, being drafted which I would hope to be in a position to introduce in the autumn session.
