Vol. 24 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - INSUFFICIENCY OF POSTAL ORDERS (LISMORE).

SEAN O GUILIDHE

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he can state why a sufficient number of postal orders to meet the demands of the public is not supplied to the Post Office at Lismore, County Waterford.

I am aware that the stock of postal orders authorised to be held at Lismore (Co. Waterford) Post Office is ample to meet normal requirements, but that recently owing to abnormal demands orders of certain denominations were completely sold out before the new supply had been received. Steps have now been taken to obviate the possibility of shortage in the future.
