Vol. 24 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - NAAS OLD AGE PENSION CLAIMANT.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he can state the reason why the old age pension has not been granted to Mrs. Jane Young, Kilmeague, Robertstown, Naas.

This claim is at present under consideration on appeal on the ground of insufficient evidence of age. Further inquiry is being made concerning the claimant's age, and immediately upon its completion a decision will be given.

Mr. WOLFE

Although her birth certificate is not obtainable, she has a son 47 years of age, and she can show that she was married at the age of 24.

Any information like that, as well as additional information, will, I take it, be available to those people when they are making inquiries.
