Vol. 27 No. 8

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CONNEMARA HOUSING CONDITIONS.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether, in view of the report of the Medical Inspector of the Department of Local Government and Public Health for that area on the housing conditions in Connemara, he will state what steps, if any, he intends to take to improve those conditions.

The question of improved facilities for the provision of housing accommodation in the Gaeltacht is at present engaging the attention of a sub-committee of the Gaeltacht (Economic Development) Committee, from whom I expect to receive a report and recommendations at an early date.
