Vol. 28 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Labourers' Allotments.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will give consideration to the question of acquiring additional lands in County Limerick for the purpose of allocating an extra half acre to the tenants of labourers' cottages who are at present in possession of only a half acre of land.

The Labourers Acts are administered by the Department of Local Government and Public Health, and the acquisition of additional half-acre plots under these Acts is not a matter for the Land Commission.
