Vol. 30 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Condition of Tipperary School.

asked the Minister for Education whether he is aware of the insanitary condition of Noan School, Killenaule, Co. Tipperary; if a report as to its condition has been made to him by an Inspector of his Department, and if the Minister will state what steps it is intended to take to put this school in a proper sanitary condition.

I have reports on the school by the Inspectors of my Department. The school building is in a reasonably good condition, requiring limewashing, internally and externally. There are no out-offices and no playground.

The responsibility for keeping the school in good repair and in a sanitary condition rests with the Manager. My Department is in communication with him on the subject.
