Vol. 30 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Railway Facilities at Fairs.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that cattle buyers who attend at Campile fair, Co. Wexford, frequently find it impossible to have cattle sent by rail on day of fair to stations on the Great Southern Railways between Campile and Wexford, and if representations will be made to the railway company to have this matter rectified.

The Great Southern Railways Company inform me that they have received no complaints as to failure to forward cattle from Campile fair to stations between Campile and Wexford on the day of the fair. A train leaving Waterford at 2.0 p.m. daily is available for any such traffic likely to offer in the ordinary course.
