Written Answers. - Reproductive Loans Fund.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state whether the Reproductive Loans Fund, formerly administered by the Congested Districts Board, has now been wound up, and the amount of the fund, including loans outstanding, at the date of winding up.

The Irish Reproductive Loan Fund was wound up in 1923, at which date the amount of cash in hand was £521 Os. 8d., and the loans outstanding £47,721 3s. Od. The moneys required for the purposes for which the fund was used are now voted annually by this House.
