Vol. 32 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Smythe Estate, Drumcree (Westmeath).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when it is intended to vest the lands of the Smythe estate. Drumcree, County Westmeath.

The estate of Henry Maxwell Smythe, Co. Westmeath, is being dealt with under the Land Act, 1923, and a provisional list of the 126 holdings in the estate which, if not excluded in consequence of a valid objection, will become vested in the Land Commission on the appointed day, was published on 31st May last.

The estate is about to be inspected and the Land Commission hope to be in a position to vest the lands in a few months.
