Vol. 32 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Criminal and Malicious Injury Claims.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce proposals for legislation to amend the law in relation to claims against local authorities by individuals in respect of compensation for criminal and malicious injury, with a view to a more equitable distribution of awards.

It is not clear to me what amendment of the law is proposed. If the Deputy will indicate what amendment he has in mind, I will be pleased to have the matter examined.
