Vol. 32 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Vesting of Sligo Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he can state when the Land Commission propose vesting the Fenton estate, parish of Easkey, Co. Sligo.

The prescribed schedule of particulars of the lands on the estate of T.C. Fenton, County Sligo, comprising 12 holdings in the townland of Castletown, parish of Easkey, have been lodged to enable the lands to be vested in the Land Commission under the Land Act, 1923, but I am not at present in a position to state when it may be dealt with by them.

The untenanted lands in the townland of Castletown on the estate were acquired by the Land Commission and have been allotted under temporary convenience lettings in 18 divisions.
