It must be understood that these figures represent the amounts paid at the local offices of the Unemployment Fund situated in the respective counties, but not necessarily paid to residents in these counties since numerous offices are situated at or near the border of other counties.
In addition, a sum of £6,703 was paid through associations under Section 17 of the Unemployment Insurance Act, 1920, but it is not possible to allocate this by counties.
