Vol. 33 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Compensation for Tenant's Interest.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state whether it was the Court of the Land Commission or Mr. Justice Wylie's Court that awarded to Henry H. Lewis, Esq., compensation for his interest as tenant for three holdings in the townland of Ballygowan on the estate (Galway, S. 1990) of his nephew, John A. Lewis, Esq., the numbers of those three holdings on the retained list being 19, 27 and 28.

The compensation in respect of each of these three holdings was fixed by Order of the Judicial Commissioner at a sum agreed upon by the Land Commission and tenant.
