Go ndeontar suim bhreise ná raghaidh thar £1,100 chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thioefidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar eríoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1930, chun Rátaí agus Síntiúisí in ionad Rátaí, etc., i dtaobh Maoine Rialtais agus chun Síntiúisí mar chab hair chun Rátaí ar Fhoirgintí atáa i seilbh Ionadaithe Rialtas Coigríche.

That a supplementary sum not exceeding £1,100 be granted to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1930, for Rates and Contributions in lieu of Rates, etc., in respect of Government property and for contributions towards Rates on buildings occupied by representatives of External Governments.

This Vote arises from the fact that the rates struck by the local authorities have been higher than was anticipated when the estimate was struck. The estimate was based on the rates levied during the year 1928-29 in various counties in which there is Government property in respect of which this allowance in lieu of rates must be paid. Amongst these counties are Kildare, Dublin, Cork, Donegal, Clare, Galway and in these counties the rates have been increased by 4d., 1/1, 1/3, 1/- and 2/2. The result of this has been that a further sum of £1,100 will be required in addition to the £87,900 already voted.

Vote put and agreed to.
