Vol. 34 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - White Estate, Co. Mayo.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he is aware that the White Estate, Bohola, Co. Mayo, which was purchased by the Land Commission twenty years ago has not yet been vested; that no improvements have been carried out in the estate during that period; and if he will state if any action is being taken to have the necessary improvements carried out and the estate vested.

The estate of F.M.L. White, County Mayo, was vested in the (late) Congested Districts Board on 11th December, 1913.

A large holding on this estate was resumed for the relief of congestion and divided among the tenants. Other improvement works were also carried out in the re-arrangement of the tenants' holdings.

The resale of the holdings will be carried out as soon as possible.
