Vol. 35 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Co. Galway Lands.

Mr. Jordan (for Mr. Killilea)

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will state when it is the intention of the Land Commission to divide the lands known as Hession's Farm, Tycooley (Clonbrock Estate), Co. Galway.

The lands of Patrick Hession, to which the Deputy refers, comprising 331 acres of the townlands of Tycooley, Loughanagh, Killeen, etc., have been acquired by the Land Commission and are at present being let for grazing, pending the completion of schemes for the division of these lands, in conjunction with other lands adjoining them, which it is anticipated the Land Commission will also be able to acquire.
