Vol. 36 No. 2

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - Waterton Estate, Enfield.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state if it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire the lands known as the Waterton Estate, near Enfield, for division.

The Deputy appears to refer to the holding of Patrick McDermott in the townland of Johnstown on the Estate of Josephine Waterton and Others containing 427a 1r 12p held at the judicial rent of £445. The Land Commission proposed to resume the holding but the tenant objected to the resumption and his objection was heard by the Land Commission and allowed.

Mr. O'Reilly

Is the Minister aware that that land is at present set under the eleven months system and that there is only one man in occupation?
