Vol. 36 No. 2

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - Johnstown Estate, Enfield.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state what is the present position of the Johnstown Estate near Enfield.

The Deputy appears to refer to a holding containing 190 acres in the townland of Johnstown formerly in the occupation of Mrs. M.C. Ruttledge which has been acquired by the Land Commission. It is proposed to allot these lands to a migrant in exchange for his holding in County Kerry, which is required for the relief of congestion. The lands are at present let to the proposed migrant pending the completion of the exchange proceedings.
