asked the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that a copy of Resolution 4,411 passed by the Galway County Council in reference to the proposed Drainage Scheme for the Loughs Corrib, Mask, and Carra Drainage District was forwarded to the Office of Public Works; whether it has been considered by that Department, and what action it is proposed to take in the matter.

The Commissioners of Public Works received on the 2nd October last a copy of the resolution passed on the 27th September at the meeting of the Galway County Council referring to the proposed works in the Loughs Corrib, Mask and Carra Drainage District, and they sent a letter to the County Council on the subject on the 4th of November, of which I am sending a copy for the Deputy's information.
