As regards the first part of the question, the Inter-Departmental Committee on Coast Erosion has not yet concluded its enquiries, and no date can yet be named for the presentation of the report, but it is hoped it will be received in the spring.
As regards the second part of the question, so far as I am aware there is no change in the Government policy as to coast protection.
There never has been any Government policy announced.
