Vol. 36 No. 7

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Hawe Estate (Co. Galway).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he will state if it is the intention of the Land Commission to acquire the lands held by Dr. Costello, Tuam, and Mr. Thos. O'Brien, of Clough, Williamstown, on the Isabella Hawe Estate, Co. Galway, for relief of the congestion that exists in that estate.

The question of the resumption for the relief of congestion of the holding on the Townland of Brierfort containing 94a. 2r. 28p. in the occupation of Thomas O'Brien and of the holding on the same Townland containing 100a. 2r. 18p. in the occupation of Dr. T.B. Costello will be considered by the Land Commission at the appropriate stage of the proceedings for sale of the estate on which they are situate.

I think it is several months ago since I got the same reply and nothing has been done since.
