Vol. 37 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ballybrophy Bog Road.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he has received repeated applications for a grant from the Improvements Fund of the Irish Land Commission or from the Relief Schemes Vote for the making of a bog road on the Thompson-Stubber Estate at Akip, Ballybrophy, Co. Leix. If he is aware that the large number of tenants concerned have given an undertaking to supply the necessary material at a nominal cost; if he can state the date on which the Inspector's report was received in his Department, and if he is now prepared to sanction the allocation of an amount which will enable the necessary work to be carried out without further delay.

A grant has been sanctioned out of the Relief Vote for work on a road running through the townlands of Akip and Kilcohe which are situated on the Stubber and Thompson Estates.
