Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fitzgerald Estate (Tipperary).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state what is the total area of the estate of Mr. Fitzgerald at Synone, County Tipperary; what is the valuation of same, and by what tenure are the lands held; how much of the land the Irish Land Commission propose to acquire; what is the nature of the land being acquired; and whether it is comparatively much less fertile and less desirable for acquisition than the remainder; and, also, what price has the owner been offered for the lands.

The area of the fee simple estate of Mr. Fitzgerald at Synone is 966 acres; Poor Law Valuation, £367 16s. on land and £41 5s. on buildings.
